If you are an iPhone user you will need to record your video or take pics in landscape mode. This is accomplished by rotating your iPhone left (counter clockwise) so that the device is in a horizontal position. If you record with the iPhone in a vertical position (portrait) then the video or picture will appear sideways when played back through Thwapr.
