Every once in awhile there is an issue with clicking on links inside text messages sent from Thwapr with a Blackberry. Either the user is unable to highlight the entire link or sometimes only a portion of it. We recommend restarting your Blackberry by removing the battery and then putting it back in. This task is usually a good idea to perform every so often with a Blackberry to make sure it is running at optimum performance.

If removing the battery does not solve your issue you may want to try resending the service books. You can either do this from your carrier's Blackberry BIS page or directly from the device.

From your computer please follow directions here: http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/service-books-how-115031/

From your device (from http://www.storm-blackberry.com/index.php?topic=554.0):

PROCEDURE: RE-SEND SERVICE BOOKS

Step one: Hit the Blackberry Button on your device so that the screen with all of your icons is shown.

Step two: Scroll down and fine one called Email Settings, and click it.

This will open the web browser and take you to a special page on the Blackberry Website called Blackberry Internet Services. This is the same page you set up your email accounts on. You may or may not need to log in here using a user ID and password.

Step Three: Under Settings there is a link called Service Books, CLICK IT.

It will take you to a screen that reads as follows

If you are experiencing difficulties sending and receiving email from your Blackberry device, send service books to your device. If the problems continue, contact your carrier customer support center.

Below that there are links for Send Service Books and Cancel.

Do not let this message fool you, resending service books fixes a lot more than email problems.

Step Four: Click Send Service Books

In a few seconds you will get a screen that reads Service Books Sent Successfully.

Step Five: Click OK

You will be back to the BIS screen.

Step Six: WITHOUT TURNING THE POWER OFF, remove the battery door and battery. Wait ten seconds and put the battery back in.

The phone will reboot taking a lot longer than you are used to. This is normal. The Blackberry is loading the new service books.

When it finally comes up you will get an email through each of the email accounts you have registered with BIS saying that activation was successful. If you don't get these emails something is still wrong and you will need to revisit the BIS page and fix it.

Hopefully that was quick and painless.

There is a more complicated procedure outlined in The Blackberry FAQ [ http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/How_do_I_resend_my_service_books%3F ], but I’ve found that the above almost always does the trick.
