Welcome to Thwapr !!!

We are very excited to show you how to “Get your moments moving.”  You may have found Thwapr after receiving a text or email from a friend and clicking on the link or perhaps you stumbled upon us all on your own. Either way we are very glad you did and hope to enhance your experience even further. This is going to be a quick guide to help you get up and running. If you feel like you need some additional help at any point in time or feel you may have missed out on anything Thwapr has to offer please check out our Knowledge Base by clicking Here or by going to http://help.thwapr.com/forums.

Before we even get into talking about sharing, thwapbacks, or anything else Thwapr has to offer you may want to Register for Thwapr. You can still use Thwapr without registering, but if you would like the full experience and ability to store your content in the "cloud" then please go ahead and register. We are going to assume you are using your mobile device rather than a computer.

  • Additional help with registering can be found by clicking Here.

Now that we have registering out of the way let's get into the good stuff and share some media.

You can use existing images or videos from either your mobile device or computer, but for now let's keep everything new and fresh by recording a brand new video.

  • Record a video with your mobile device and save it.

  • Create a new email with your mobile device's email client and attach what you just captured. Send the email to me@thwapr.com.

  • Additional help with sharing can be found by clicking Here.

That's it !!! Now all you have to do is wait for the SMS text message and/or email letting you know when Thwapr has finished processing your video and it is ready to be viewed and shared.

Once you receive the notification go ahead and click on the link. "Play" your video to see what others will see when you share it. Let's hope you didn't embarrass yourself too much with what you recorded and are ready to share.

  • Go to your new video again and click on "Thwap It" this time. You can also "Tweet It" to Twitter.

  • Assuming you don't already have Thwapr Friends go ahead and enter the mobile phone number of the friend you want to see your new video and share it.

  • Additional help with sharing an image or video can be found by clicking Here.

Your friend will now receive a SMS text message on their mobile device with a link to view the video.

You are now an official Thwapper. That was pretty easy now wasn't it? There are many other features of Thwapr that will help "get your moments moving". You can either explore these on your own or by visiting the Knowledge Base. I personally recommend trying to Thwapback and adding Friends to your Friends List.
