Yes. It is kind of cool. 

If a user shares a mobile video or photo to you, they will automatically appear in your friends list.

This way you don't need to ask them for their phone number if you want to share a video or photo with them.

Instead they are already in your friends list, ready to share with.

If the user is a registered user of Thwapr they will appear in your friends list with a picture profile (if they have one).

Note that you can edit or delete any of the users that appear in your friends list.
