Sometimes the Apple iPhone will display an error message indicating that the video "cannot be played". This can be due to other issues, but one of the more common ones is a weak data connection. It the iPhone is showing low signal bars and has an EDGE data connection the phone can essentially "give up" on trying to play the video because it does not have enough data bandwidth and the error message will be displayed.
